  • 1st - 8th Grade Boys Fundamental Basketball Camp

    The youth camp will focus on the development of a player’s fundamental basketball skills, which will include, but is not limited to, ball handling, shooting, passing and footwork. The first week of camp will be all skill work with a few opportunities to play live against each other 1 on 1, 2 on 2 , and 3 on 3.  The second week of camp will focus on team skills, which will incorporate all of the individual skills learned in the first week. If you are just starting to play basketball or have been playing for  a while this camp will challenge every part of your game each and every day, I promise you that. Each camper will receive a Storm Basketball Camp T-Shirt as well. (If you are in 7th or 8th  grade and would like to sign up for the High School Camp

    The camp will be organized age and skill ability.

  • 5th - 12th Grade Girls' Softball Summer Camp

    The Storm Softball camp is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of the game of softball to the younger campers (5-8 grade) - throwing /catching/fielding/bunting/ hitting/base running - and to instill in them a general enjoyment for the game of softball.  The older campers (8-12 grade) will also focus on strong fundamentals, but also higher level techniques, strategies, competitive drills, and position instruction to prepare them for being successful at the high school level.  The 2016 Storm softball coaching staff consists of former college players and members of the 2016 varsity team will be assisting in camper instruction.  Coaching and camp expenses are based on the number of paid participants.  There will be no refunds after the first day of camp.

    Coach Reynard Graduated from Riverside-Brookfield High School where he played football, basketball and baseball. He continued his baseball career at Morton College and then to University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He began his coaching career at Mt. Assisi Academy in Lemont. He coached there for 12 years winning 4 regional titles and one sectional title. Was Named Illinois Coach of the year in 2010 and 2012 (at EP). He moved on to Elmwood Park High School in 2011. During his tenure at EP we won 3 Regional Championships and a Sectional Championship during his four year run.

    The south Elgin High School Summer camp is for any skill level of wrestler who is looking to improve their talents for the upcoming season. Coaches will work takedowns, throws, and defense from the neutral position that work at the highest levels of competition from high school up to international competition. We will also focus on mat wrestling including tilts, leg rides, pinning combinations from the top position. On bottom we will focus on motion to escapes and reversals through the use of stand ups, switches, sit outs, and rolls. Come on out and improve your skills with us.

  • 8th grade through 12th grade Girls' Soccer Summer Camp.

    The South Elgin H.S. girls' soccer camp is available to students entering 8th - 12th grade.  During each session, players will get the opportunity to improve their technique and gameplay.  Each day will consistent on touch, possession and scrimmage.  Varsity returners will lead the way, and younger players will get their chance to develop alongside those experienced in competition.  

    Players are to bring their shinguards, soccer cleats and plenty of water.

    Coach Szwaja grew up playing soccer and continues to share her love for the game with student athletes at South Elgin.  She grew up playing soccer in Elk Grove Village, went on to play club for Sockers F.C. and played four years of Varsity soccer at Elk Grove High School and was part of two conference championship teams, and she continued her soccer career at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign playing club soccer.  She majored in English and minored in Education at UIUC and is proud to be an Illini.  She has a master’s degree in School Administration, but loves coaching and teaching too much to leave it just yet.  She has spent nine years coaching high school soccer, both boys and girls teams, and looks forward to future seasons with motivated athletes that love the game.  She also believes there is no reason not to embrace every opportunity to get on the pitch and perfect your skills, so she will see you at summer camp.

  • High School Baseball Summer Camp

    The high school baseball camp will work on hitting, fielding, throwing and other fundamentals to help them improve their skills.  The players will have the opportunity to work on the techniques necessary for being a successful high school baseball player.  Bring bat, glove, spikes (for outdoors) and gym shoes (for indoors).  Wear sweatpants or baseball pants (shorts, if it is hot).  Be sure to bring water.  

    Must have a minimum of 15 to run camp.  May combine with lower level if needed.  May have to move camp dates if we are in State games.

  • High School Boys' Basketball Summer Camp

    The High School is going to work on a player’s individual ability to create scoring opportunities for not only yourself, but for your teammates. We will be working on: basic and advance moves for dribbling and shooting, teaching players how to not only attack the basket, but finish around the basket, moving without the ball to create opportunity to score. We will teach all players the basic South Elgin Offense. Built into the cost of the camp are opportunities to play in summer league game and/or weekend tournaments. A schedule of the dates will be posted. Coming to this camp will help prepare you son to be part of the South Elgin Basketball program.

    The camp curriculum is designed to challenge and enhance the players technical and tactical understanding of the game. By the end of camp players will have been exposed to game tactics, strategies and skills  which will help raise their game. All levels coached by SEHS coaching staff and Simon Brinklow.   • High School Freshman Football Summer Camp

    South Elgin Storm Football camps are designed to provide  each individual athlete a solid foundation in the basic football fundamentals needed to excel at their specific position.   We encourage  all student-athletes  interested in playing for the Storm in the fall to attend this camp.  The Storm coaching staff will provide players an opportunity to gain a better understanding for our scheme, and program expectations for the upcoming season.  This camp is designed to  ensure that our players will be prepared mentally and physically for the 2018 season.  Participants of this  camp will  be provided opportunities to compete in multiple 7 on 7 and linemen competitions throughout June and July.

    A native of Elgin, Pistorio been with the Chicago Slaughter indoor football franchise since it started in 2007.

    During the 2007 season, Pistorio was promoted to offensive coordinator midway through the season. He went on to lead an offense that ranked in the top three in scoring during the 2007-2009 seasons.

    In 2013, Pisotrio helped quarterback Cody Kirby earn IFL Rookie of the Year honors.

    During the 2010 season, receiver Reggie Gray was the IFL's all-purpose yardage leader in only nine games played, and offensive lineman Rasche Hill was named second team All-IFL.

    The 2010 Slaughter squad also recorded the highest scoring output in the league by defeating West Michigan by 83-49.

    During the team's undefeated championship season in 2009, Pistorio's offense averaged a league-leading 65 points and outscored its opponents by an average of nearly 30 points. The 2009 Slaughter offense was the most prolific in indoor football that season and broke numerous league records for both team and individual play.

    Records that were broken in 2009 include passing yards, total offensive yards, passing touchdowns and completions. The 2009 squad recorded the highest scoring output in the league in an 84-24 victory over the Milwaukee Bonecrushers.

    Quarterback Russ Michna (Conant) earned the CIFL offensive player of the year and MVP awards that season. He later signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the UFL. Receiver Donovan Morgan was nominated the most valuable player in the championship game and later signed with the Tulsa Talons of the AFL.

    In addition to his coaching duties with the Slaughter, Pistorio took offensive coordinator duties at Harper College in Palatine in 2010.

    Prior to his experience at Harper, Pistorio spent three seasons at Lake Forest College. During his tenure, Lake Forest wide receivers earned five All-Midwest Conference selections, including a pair of first-team distinctions, in Pistorio's first two seasons. Three Forester wideouts caught at least 42 passes in 2007, and Dan Carter became the program's all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdowns during Pistorio's time on staff.

    Pistorio also coached at South Elgin and Larkin, where he directed the wide receivers. At Larkin, he coached all-state receiver Eyad Salem, who earned a scholarship to Illinois State and later was given a tryout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

    Pistorio is a 2002 graduate of Southern Illinois, where he had the opportunity to work with the Saluki football program as a student assistant. During that time he was able to work with coach Jerry Kill. Pistorio earned a degree in History Secondary Education , a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and an additional Masters Degree in Educational Administration.

  • High School Girls' Bowling - Varsity Experience Camp

    South Elgin Storm Football camps are designed to provide  each individual athlete a solid foundation in the basic football fundamentals needed to excel at their specific position.   We encourage  all student-athletes  interested in playing for the Storm in the fall to attend this camp.  The Storm coaching staff will provide players an opportunity to gain a better understanding for our scheme, and program expectations for the upcoming season.  This camp is designed to  ensure that our players will be prepared mentally and physically for the 2018 season.  Participants of this  camp will  be provided opportunities to compete in multiple 7 on 7 and linemen competitions throughout June and July.

  • Youth Baseball Summer Camp

    The youth baseball camp will work on the fundamentals of the game.  Camp will concentrate on hitting, fielding, throwing and base running.  Bring bat and glove.  Wear sweatpants or baseball pants (shorts, if it is hot).  Be sure to bring water.  Coaching and camp expenses are based on the number of paid participants.  

    Must have a minimum of 15 to run camp.  May combine with lower level if needed.  May have to move camp dates if we are in State games.  Coaching and camp expenses are based on the number of paid participants. There will be no refunds after the first day of camp! 

    Camp will be combined with high school due to low enrollment, but safety precautions will be taken for all ages.
